Counterpart of lease, by the Provost and College to John Hammond of Chertesey, co. Surrey, doctor in physick, upon surrender of his former lease, of a messuage or farm called Aldifes in Penn, late in the occupation of William Deane, except all woods and underwoods. From Lady day last for 21 years. Rent 48s 11½d and 14 bushels 3 pecks of wheat and 2 quarters 3 bushels 2 pecks of malt or their money equivalent.

Seal, round, 20mm, red wax, on doubled tag. Armorial, five crescents, one, three and one, on a canton a feather. Helmnet, crest and mantling.
