Grant by Nicholas Clopton to the King of fifteen acres of arable lying between a toft called Coldnorton on the west and the King's way leading from Eton towards the hamlet called le Slowe on the east and the land of the Provost and College of Eton, sometime of Oliver de Burdeux, and that of Nicholas Whaddon on the south and that of the prior and convent of Merton and the ditch called Colnorton dyche on the north. The premises are parcel of a purparty of the manor of Burneham called Hundercombes and of other lands and tenements in Burneham Eton and Bekenesfeld which Richard Lovell, esquire, son and heir of Margaret, sister and only heir of John Hundrecombe, Knight, now deceased, by charter of 8 January 1431 granted to Richard Wyot, Thomas Foxley, William Whaplade, Thomas Dirdaunte, esquires, John Faryndon and Richard Waltham, now deceased, and the said Nicholas.
