Counterpart of lease, by the Provost and College, to Thomas Batcheldor, of New Windsor, for £70 18s 8d and the surrender of the foregoing, of a close of ground called the Hog Close with the messuage or tenements and buildings erected thereon bounded on the south by the Thames, on the west by a meadow called the the Brocas, on the north by a lane leading to the Brocas and on the east by a yard belonging to Henry Strugnell, the front part whereof is now used as a towing path by the Commissioners of the Thames Navigation. From Old Lady day last for 20 years. Rent 6s 5d and 52 gallons 2 quarts of malt or their money equivalent and 8s 2d in consideration of the redemption of land tax.
