Grant by brother William Peyrson, minister of the house of Houndeslowe [Hounslow, of the order of the Holy Trinity, co. Middlesex, and the convent there to master Henry Boost [Bost], Provost, and the College of Eton of a rent of 40s, from Michaelmas last for 99 years, from all those lands and tenements in the township and fields of Wyxbrigge [Uxbridge], in the same county, which Thomas Asshby, gentleman, lately bought from John Maynard, of Westbrayntford [Brentford], in the same county, and Emmotte, his wife, and which the said Asshby lately leased by indenture to the grantor. The grantees have paid 4d for the seisin of the said rent, which guarantees the terms of the said indenture viz that the said minister shall provide a preacher to preach a public sermon on Trinity Sunday in the conventual church of the said house for a payment of 6s 8d, and shall distribute 10s after the said sermon among the indigent poor there flocking, and shall distribute 4d to a brother of the said house assisting and aiding at the obit or anniversary of the said Asshby on ths Friday next before Trinity Sunday in the conventual church. The rent of 40s is to be suspended in any year in which the minister, having failed to perform the foregoing three services shall yet, within eight days, pay to the Provost and College 13s 4d, 20s and 8d respectively.
