Inspeximus and confirmation by queen Elizabeth of archiepiscopal letters of dispensation. Given at Westminster.
The Great Seal, natural coloured wax, on doubled tag, slightly chipped away at the top.
Attached is the dispensation by Edmund, archbishop of Canterbury, to the Provost and College to eat flesh on Thursday, though it has recently been prohibited; for reasons of its expense and of the difficulty of obtaining it and of health, "cujus precipua cura debet esse literatis hominibus"
