Grant by Emma formerly wife of Walter le Freynshe, of Braye, to William de Alkesulle, of the same, of an acre and a half of arable in Braye, which she had by gift of the said Walter, formerly her husband, and which she held of Roger, son and heir of the said Walter, as dower, whereof half an acre lies in the field called Eldelond between land of Christine le Wolf on the west and the croft of William le Pyk on the east, half an acre in the same field between land of Thomas Ive on the south and land of William son of the late Jordan de Bogyndone on the north, and extending upon land of John de Mereworthe on the east and the King's street which leads from Maydenhuthestret towards la Eldefeld on the west, and the third half acre in the field called la Reye between land of the said Thomas Ive on the south and land of Robert Purfowel on the north extending on the east upon land of William Gilemyn and on the west upon the meadow called Astyngbrokesmed, in Braye.

Seal, round, 18mm, natural coloured wax, on doubled tag. Armorial, a bend cotised between six roundles. A cusped border.
