Indenture of notification by William Hackere, of Maydenhuth, that he will not avail himself of the warranty of John Mersshe and Agnes, his wife, in the case of lands which they released to him by fine in the court of the Lord Humphrey de Lancastr', Knight, held at Braye on 1 April 1409 and by another fine in his court held at Cokham on 2 April 1409, viz, 2 messuages, 50 acres of arable, 2 acres of meadow, a fishery called Pykesdych, a rent of 3s for a way to a tenement called Gonyldplace, together with a rent of 4d and the services of four days' work of one man in autumn, arising from a cottage called Elyotesplace, which John Elyot now holds, all which the said Agnes and William Staverton, formerly her husband, lately held by feoffment of Walter Rededych and John Hereward, of Benfeld, in Braye, Cokham and Tappelawe, and which formerly belonged to John Milward, senior, of Maydenhuthe.

(2) Originally about 16 x 12mm. Lower half broken away. On an open flower or leaves a small cross; between [?A] and M.
