Counterpart of lease, by the Provost and College to Rev. William Moody, of Bathampton, co. wilts, clerk, upon surrender of the foregoing, of the moiety of the manor of Hanging Langford. From Old Michaelmas last for 20 years. Rents £5 19s 7d and 263 gallons 1 quart of wheat and 522 gallons of malt or their money equivalent, for the site of the manor of Hanging Longford, and 12d and 2 gallons 1 quart of wheat and 4 gallons 2 quarts of malt or their money equivalent, for the copyhold tenement, together with £9 1s 4d in consideration of the redemption of land tax.

Seal, oval, 23 x 18mm, dark wax, applied. Armorial, vert, a fesse engrailed argent surmounted of another gules between three harpies. Crest, a wolf's head erased.
