Content description
William Moody, Salisbury, to the Provost and Fellows warning them of the imminent danger to their property from the proposals for inland navigation between Warminster and Salisbury which he fears will be attended with the total destruction of water meadows and consequently of the breed of sheep, which must end in the ruin of the arable land which is a very light soil and cannot be maintained without the numerous flocks.
