Indenture of bargain and sale, by Robert Bird, of Staple Inne, gentleman, for £250, to Robert Angleshaw, of Wibberton, co. Lincs, yeoman, and Richard and John Angleshaw, his sons, of a messuage or tenement, backhouse, barn, stable and other outhouses, and a tenement or cottage near the same in Wibberton, co. Lincs, with a close or piece of pasture ground or homestead containing 3 acres, and 4 acres of pasture together with 1 acre belonging to one Shipman and adjoyning upon the Fenn Lane and the lands now or late of William Forby, senior, and of John Shaw and James Ayre or some of them, and a piece of arable containing 5½ acres in Wibberton near Frampton field and the lands now or late of the heirs of one Mountons and of Roberte Scaper and ½ acre in Frampton field in Frampton upon or near the lands now or late of Robert Scaper and of the heirs of one Hutchinson, and a piece of arable containing 1 acre in Wibberton in a field called Little Pilcroft near the town drain and the lands now or late of Robert Scaper and the heirs of Sir Robert Carre and the highway leading to Wibberton church, and a piece of arable containing 5 roods in Great Pilcroft in Wibberton Bottome and Wibberton near the lands now or late of Nicholas Walgrave, esquire, on the east and the town drain on the west, and a piece of ground containing 3 roods in Great Pilcroft near the lands of John Shaw, gentleman, on the east and south; all which premises are in Wibberton and Frampton and are commonly called Baxter's farm, and were heretofore in the tenure of Luke Baxter and since of John Beaving.
By an indenture of this date, the grantor and Edward Hale, his trustee, have assigned to John Shaw, trustee of the premises for the grantees, a mortgage of the same, dated 20 October 1667, made by Thomas Blinkarne to Peter Etger, merchant.
