Indenture of bargain and sale, by Richard Angleshaw, of Wiberton, yeoman, and Abigail, his wife, for £160, to William Christopher, of Boston, mercer, of a messuage and brewhouse with a barn, stables, outhouses, yard, garden and orchard belonging, and 4 acres of pasture ground between the common sewer to the east, the Fenne Way to the west, the lands of Mr John Harrison and John Bryan, esquire, to the north and the lands of Robert Barber to the south, and 1 acre of arable called Penny White acre in a place called Pillcroft between the lands of Mr Robert Skapper to the east, the lands of the heirs of James Johnson to the west, a certain drain way to the north and the church way to the south, and 3 roods of poyes or ley ground between the lands of the heirs of Daniel Stephens to the east, and lands of Benjamin Wade to the west, the lands of the the heirs of Mr Norris Lenton to the north and the lands of the said Benjamin Wade to the south, and 1 acre 1 rood of arable between the lands of the heirs of William Forby to the east, the lands of Francis Smyth by right of his wife to the west, the lands of heirs of Norris Lenton to the north and a common sewer to south, all in Wiberton, and ½ acre of arable in Frampton between the lands late of Mr Hutchinson to the east, the lands of William Ayre and a drain to the west and north, and the lands of Mr Hutchinson to the south, all which premises are in the tenure of Richard Layne. For one year, rent a peppercorn.

Witnesses: Hugh Brookesby, Thomas Wells, Nathaniel Smyth.
Two seals, identical, round, 20mm, red wax, on paper on doubled tags. Armorial, quarterly, first and fourth three gauntlets, second and third three cinquefoils. Above the shield a label NEC TEMERE NEC TIMIDE.
