Admission, at a court on 13 April 1721, of James Turner, husband of the sister of Edward Rance, to various lands bequeathed to him in the will of the said Edward viz. a tenement with half an acre abutting on Pitch Green to the north and the lands of Thomas Rance to the south; 2 acres of arable in Southfield, one abutting on the land of James Stevens, the other lying next the land of Richard Fellow to the west and the lands of Martin Basset to the east; common of pasture for 3 beasts and 20 sheep; 3 acres of arable in the common fields; 2 acres of arable in the common fields, one lying in Hamfield between the lands of Edmund Bigg and Richard Darvall, the other in Redfield adjoining lands of William Bigg to the north and the way called Saderton Way to the east and lands of John Ewstone (?) to the west; and 3 virgates or roods of arable, of which a part lies in Hamfield in Betton furlong between the land of Richard Darval on the east and west, and a part in Peryfield with the hedge adjoining the land of Edmund Stevens on the west.
