Memorandum of surrender by Thomas Carey, of Stanes, co. Middlesex, husbandman, by the hands of Ralph Stone, the elder, and Jonah Rance, of a messuage at Bledlowridge wherein John Whitboarne dwells, 3 closes of arable called Home Close, Worthys and the Ball, a woodground adjoining Worthys, a piece of "new grub'd ground" adjoining the wood, two pieces of arable in Southfield, three pieces of arable in the Deam, and his two cows' commons to be had in the common meadow called Gosswell, the total amounting to 18 acres, to the use of Edward Meade, of Puttney, co. Surrey, butcher. If he shall pay the said Meade the sum of £204 on 27 March next, the surrender shall be void.
