Content description
Memorandum of surrender by Charles Hall, clerk, and Sarah his wife, by the rod by the hands of the steward, of a messuage, a yard land, a half yard land, 4 acres of arable in Perryfield, 4 acres in Henfield and 1 acre of arable in Redfield, to the use of Thomas Brown, of the Inner Temple, esq. If they shall pay Brown the sum of £300 with lawful interest on 18 December 1739, the surrender shall be void.
Signatures of George Proctor, steward, the Halls, John Whittle, a witness, and Daniel Buttler, foreman of the jury, who has noted that the surrender was presented 19 September 1740.
