Memorandum of surrender by John Mead, yeoman, for £1500, by the hands of Abraham Moore, esq., steward, of a messuage with malthouse, orchard etc. adjoining containing 3 acres 8 perches, and Butchers Close from which a small part has lately been taken and which now contains 3 acres 18 perches, and an allotment of 16 perches being one of the new enclosures and an allotment in Dog Close and Hanging Close containing 1 acre 3 roods 12 perches, and an allotment in Hanging Close and Perry Field containing 12 acres 3 roods 22 perches and an allotment in Perry Field containing 5 acres 3 roods 13 perches (all described), to which John Mead was this day admitted (on the surrender of John Darvill), to the use of Elizabeth James, of Aylesbury, widow, and John James, of Chatham, co. Kent, esq.
If he shall pay £1500 with interest on 29 April next, the surrender shall be void.
