Memorandum of surrender by James Walton, farmer, (by his attorney), before Frederick Charsley, gent., deputy steward, for £250 paid, at the direction of James Walton, by William Clarke, farmer, to Cranley Benjamin Britnell, late of Chinnor by now of Long [...], co. Bucks, baker, and Matilda, his wife, of a messuage etc. as in ECR 46 285, the premises having been formerly in the occupation of [...] Brooks, the said Walton and [...] Goodchild, and being now unoccupied, to which Walton was admitted on 22 May 1861. To the use of William Clarke.
Signatures of William Rawlins, Walton's attorney, Charsley, and of Henry Gibbons and John Brooks, the homage, who presented the surrender at a Court Baron on 12 November 1873.
