Content description
Receipt of Thomas Stephens, of Maydenhethe, co. Berks, for £10 from Master Roger Lupton, clerk, to the use of Katherine Bonar, daughter of John Bonar, in part payment for certain lands and woods in Bledloo rygg, co. Bucks.
With memorandum by the same that he and Ralph Smithe promise that Lupton shall have their title for their lands in Henton before any other man and shall keep the evidences thereof till Michaelmas 1529; and promise that Lupton shall have the title of Katherine Bonar and his own title to the lands in Henton for £10.
