Content description
An estimate of the interest of Thomas Spiers, esquire, as lessee of the College, in 3 closes of woodland called Frenches Hill Wood, Bledlow Great Wood and Thickthorn Wood, also in a cottage, garden and piece of meadow land occupied by the woodward, containing in all 237 acres 2 roods 22 perches, including the beech timber growing in the Pills and in the several springs and hedgerows. Spiers holds a lease for 20 years from 11 October 1820. Made by Richard Stratford, surveyor, Amersham, who has added a sketch of the premises.
