Jos. Jas. Harper, Bledlow ridge, to the Rev T S Grover, bursar, enclosing a valuation of the estate "which will enable you to calculate the fine with greater precision and accuracy that upon former occasions." The value is given as £652 10s 0d a year, made up of £300 for 200 loads of beech, and the remainder of rents, Harper's principal under-tenant being Mr Clarke at £280 a year.
