J J Harper, Bledlow Ridge, to Rev George Bethel. Mr Tindal has been at Bledlow and after minute examination advises not to proceed at law in the matter of the pound as there is great doubt of ultimate success, but advises proceeding against Stephen Butler in the matter of the tree if he refuses to give it up.
Suggests that the College should ascertain its rights in the timber on the copyhold estates.
