J J Harper, Bledlow, to Rev George Bethel, concerning Lord Carrington's defective fences. "I should be happy to receive the notices, as now the leaf is out I find a difficulty in preventing the young men and women from the neighbouring parishes indulging themselves sub tegmine fagi particularly of a Sunday evening. I hope the parishes will not call on the College to answer the consequences."
