Counterpart of lease, by the Provost and College to Richard Howse, alias Howlce, of Chevelyn, co. Berks, gentleman, upon surrender of an unexpired lease which by mean conveyances has come unto the said Howse, of the site of the rectory or parsonage of Cogges, co. Oxford, with all lands pertaining thereto and all rents and pensions from the late suppressed abbeys of Evesham, Osney and St Frydeswydes in Oxford, and a fulling mill there. Excepting courts leets and the perquisites of the same, and all great trees, and one chamber with a little yard adjoying, which shall be the dwelling place of the chaplain or curate for the time being. From Lady day last for 21 years. Rent 45s at Michaelmas, and a boar or 13s 4d and 18 quarters of wheat and 7 quarters of malt. In default of the wheat, the lessee to supply its money equivalent.
