Content description
Receipt by William Ranby, registrar of the archdeacon of Winchester, from the prior of Okeborn for his temporalities of Querle 3s, for the procurations of the lords Pileus archbishop of Ravenna and William archbishop of Rouen and the venerable master Giles of St Simon, provost of the church of St Valentine, doctor of laws, nuncii of the Holy See to the parts of Flanders, viz 1½d on each mark.

Seal, rounded oval, 21mm, green wax, left side and top missing. The virgin and child, St Peter on her left, both standing; beneath, under a round arch, a cleric in prayer.
