Memorandum of agreement, between William Day, plaintiff, and Walter Blount, defendant, that their suit in the Exchequer shall in three weeks be referred to two able lawyers to end all the said controversy, provided it shall be lawful for Day to put in new interrogatories and examine his witnesses here in town, giving Blount notice concerning the modus decimandi. 14 November 1656. Bond by each party in £500 to stand to the arbitration.
