Mapledurham, Oxfordshire: Agreement concerning lease

Agreement, between Walter Blount and William Day, that Day shall lease to such person or persons as Blount shall appoint all the tythes of hay and depasturing of cattle on the demesne meadow and pasture grounds of Gurney and Chawsyes, from 3 years to 3 yars at a peppercorn rent, from Lady day last, for as long as he shall to vicar of Mappledirham. At the signing and sealing of the said lease Blount shall pay Day £120 and shall make a lease to Day of the Stringes and Meade, for the same terms, at a rent of £10.
