William Day v. Sir Charles Blunt et al., for the recovery of the rights of the Church. 1639.
Commission to Richard Libb, esquire, Anthony Libb, gentleman, Anthony Lynche, gentleman, and John Allen, gentleman, appointed under an order of Trinity 18 Charles I in the Exchequer K R dated 28 June 1642 in the suit between William Day, clerk, plaintiff, and Sir Charles Blount, Knight, and others, defendants, concerning tythes in Mapledurham, to examine that value the said tythes are and have been since Day has been incumbent.
Westminster.
The extract from the Order book is attached to the Commission by the seal tag.
Traces of seal, brown wax, on doubled tag.
An endorsement, more or less contemporary, that the commission was not executed.
