Content description
Charles Blount, Thursday [1630], to Mr Smith, vicar of Mapledurham, suggesting that they refer their differences to a neighbour. "I desire that you will not hark to the clamarous tungs of my ungrateful and rude tennants which if you should assure yourselfe they will sow that dissension betweene us that ther will be little love betweene us. For your predecessors ther hath alwayes beene mutuall courtesies which I desire may continue, and I should be glad to see your selfe and wife at my house."
