Content description
A note of how a tenement called le Swanne in Burnham, has been spoiled by Richard Joines (tailor, held the Swanne in 1560), the late tenant. His offences are itemised and include carrying away fruit trees from the orchard and setting them in another lord's ground where he now dwells, "and not so muche as the Rosiers in ye garden but he hath caried & given them awaie."
