John Shaw, junior, Christ's Hospital, to Rev George Bethell. Mr Clarke has written for the sketch of the proposed Botanical garden. Will the Provost please forward it to Shaw. "I see by the paper that Mrs Beaumont's fine conservatories are to be sold and this I know will make the projectors stir in the business."
