John Shaw, (senior), Christ's Hospital, to Rev George Bethell, quoting a letter from Tooke & Parker, agents for the London and Birmingham Railway Co, offering to take a lease of the whole of the field next the Hampstead Road through which the Railway passes, to make all bridges across the line as the College may consider necessary and to discuss any further objections to the line that the College or its tenants may have and if possible comply with their wishes.
