Content description
Thomas Batcheldor, London, to the Rev George Bethell. Met Mr Shaw again at Haverstock Hill yesterday and found that "the Company have taken possession of the land and without asking any one's permission commenced operations on it. They have put in an enormous sewer..." "I sent for the foreman of the works and gave him notice not to proceed further at his peril." Asks Bethell to come and see for himself as soon as possible.
