Cookham, Berkshire: Indenture of agreement

Indenture of agreement, between the Provost and College of Eton and Thomas Pearce, of New Windsor, gentleman, by which the former bargain and sell all the underwoods growing upon these coppices and parcels of woodground in Cookeham, co. Berks, one lying near the farmhouse called Woodmancotes, containing 13 acres 12 perches, one near to it, containing 6 acres and the third in the bottom near the common fields, containing 1 acre 3 roods 12 perches; egress and regress.
Pearce will pay the grantors £65 viz. £40 at the sealing of the present and £25 before 1 January next; and will hedge, ditch and fence the premises.
