Charsley, Charsley's Hall, Oxford, to Carter, describing a meeting with Mr Wintle, the referee, and Mr Burr's solicitor at Oxford. Charsley produced all the evidence he could find in the College muniment room and is satisfied that he has established the right of the College to at least the principal part of what it claims. The referee hopes to make his award in a fortnight.
