Promise by Thomas and Edward Hobbes, of Stoakegurseyek, co. Somerset, gentlemen, to Sir Henry Saville, Knight, Provost, and Adam Robins, Bursar, that in the two years following they will repair two rooms in the rectory or manor house of Stoakegurseye over the entry leading from the kitchen to Thomas Hobbs' lodging with walling, boarding, flooring and all other necessary repairs; and will make a floor over the hall and glaze the windows in the hall and over the hall; and will repair the dower house, barn and stable. Towards the charges Thomas promises to give 20 marks viz. 20 nobles at Michaelmas next and 20 nobles at the following Michaelmas, while Edward will pay the residue.
