Tolpuddle, Dorset: Appointment of attorneys

Appointment, by the Dean and Chapter of Christchurch, Oxford, of John Willis and Daniel Fogge as their attorneys to deman and receive of Edmund Hull, of Tolepuddle, co. Dorset, esquire, his half-year's rent due on Lady Day last, viz, 18s, and 5 bushels of wheat and a quarter of malt or their money value (viz £2 18s 6d that is, the wheat at 6s6d a bushel and the malt at 3s 3d), for the tythe corn in Southover and the tythe hay in Southover and Northover in Tolepuddle, which they leased to him on 15 July 1652 for 21 years.
Seal and tag are missing.
Endorsed with a memorandum that John Willis aforesaid on 24 April 1664 in the treasure house of the Dean and Chapter within the Cathedral Church of Christ, half an hour before the setting of the sun, did demand of Edmund Hull or his assigns the said sum and there continued the said demand until it was dark. Witnesses: Edward Listed, Richard Porter (mark), Bernard Woods (marks).
A further memorandum that on 25 April Willis made a similar demand in the presence of the same witnesses.
