Quittance to the College from the Exchequer.
In an extract from the Pipe Roll 1611, relating to Bucks, the College is shewn as owning 60s for an aid for Knighting the King's son, Prince Henry, from the manor of Bledelowe in the hundred of Aylisbury, and 20s for the same aid for lands in Eton and in Huchenden in the hundred of Chilterne.
The College is exonerated from payment by reason of Letters Patent of 5 March 1446, enrolled on the LTR Memoranda Roll 25 Henry VI among the Records of Michaelmas rot. 104.
