Draft of Barnard to Mr Hawtrey, concerning the Barton Stacey pension; also "I must likewise beg the favor of some explanation of a direction you gave mewhere to receive some of the London rents, viz. the Corner House in Bread Street. You refer me to the house the east corner of Cheapside. I accordingly called at several of the most extreme houses at the east corner of Cheapside, but could get no account whatever. Can you recollect what the person's name was you were used to receive it from or give me any further direction that may lead to it?"
