Content description
James Bayly, Bishopstrow, to Mr Edward Brown, D R, Eton College. The Land Tax for the farm at Middleton Brimfield in Norton Bavant is £14 16s. The College lands being nearly a moiety the Land Tax is £7 8s per annum. The Land Tax for the Inclosures of pasture at Warminster is 13s 9d. He had supposed from their circular letter that the College wished his to be the purchaser, but is by no means desirous to be so.
