Content description
Thomas Eagle, Baginton, to the Rev William Roberts. Has received a letter from Mr Leake reminding him of making an abatement in the tithes of Asthal and Asthally lordships on account of what they call Hitchin, that is, sowing clover or vetches occasionally for cutting green as fodder, instead of grain. He can only say that he believes his calculations to have been fair. References to the Weedon road and to Bloxham.
