Extract from the Register of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury of the will of William Byll, clerk, professor of theology (Provost). To be buried in the Collegiate church of Westminster. Property in Asshewell and Morden, co. Herts, the parish of the Blessed Mary Colchirche in Estchepe, London, Ilforde, co. Essex. Among legacies, pauperibus et discipulis Collegii Regalis Etone £10. Also half his theological books to be collegiate church of Westminster, and the other half to be divided between the library of Trinity College, Cambridge and the library of the College of Eton.
