Appointment by the Provost and College of Richard Purplett, of Ipswich, co. Suffolk, gentleman, as their attorney to enter the site of the manor of Blakenham, leased to Joseph Bluet, of Ipswich, clothier, on 10 December 1660 for 21 years, for a rent of £13 13s 4d and 7 quarters of wheat and 8 quarters of malt, and a boar at Michaelmas, as the rent in money has been unpaid for a year and that in malt for a year and a half. And they ratify whatever he shall lawfully do in the premises.
Seal and doubled tag are missing.
Endorsed that on the 19 Septmeber 1670 Pupplett entered and took possession of the premises in the presence of James Rudkin, Thomas Woodward and Thomas Legges.
