Thomas Ashton, from Mr Alderman's Porter's to the Reverend Mr William Cooke, bursar, "Mr Evans has been with me. I have order'd him to send his acct to the Provost. If it fall short of 36s per acre for Chacotts & 25 per acre for Wilds (which is the rate at wch I have value'd it) I beg you will suspend the determination of the fine till I see you, for I am fully convinc'd it is of that value."
