Item
11 March 1756
2 folios
Evan Evans, Northumberland House, to [the Bursar]. Has seen Mr Earle. The question of title to certain lands. "In plain truth, his meaning stands thus, that as you put him upon the proof to shew his claim in Iver's Fields, so is he resolv'd to put you upon the proof of your title to Dellfield."
"I wish with all my soul that this estate was in your own hands, so as you might take the best hand you could on't, in that case am very clear that instead of £1500 in 7 years, it wd yield you, penny rent, £3500 clear of any trouble or deduction in equal time."
