Thomas Barnard, to the Rev Dr Norbury concerning (1) his enquiries at Hullavington. He “cannot help pronouncing the charge in general most trifling and frivolous and originating entirely in the malice of Tanner,” who is determined to do the farmer Chandler all the harm in his power. (2) Salusbury’s mortgage. (3) Documents concerning Pirton and Goldcliffe. With a draft of Norbury’s answer, 25 June; and a list of documents to be sent.
