Counterpart of lease, by the Provost and College to Richard Wilkins, of Reading, gentleman, devisee in the last will of Joseph Wilkins, innholder, his father, deceased, upon surrender of the foregoing, of the close of pasture called the Saffron Garden, with the messuage or tenement and all other edifices and buildings thereupon erected, in Slough in Stoke Poges, between a tenement or inn called the White Hart on the east, the common highway leading from Slough towards London on the south and the common field called Brickfield on the west and north. Excepting all woods and underwoods. From Lady day last for 20 years. Rent 4s 5½d, and one bushel of wheat and two bushels one peck of malt or their money equivalent.
