Counterpart of lease, by the Provost and College to John Hammond, of Chertesey, co. Surrey, doctor of physicke, upon surrender of his former lease, of a tenement called Murwentes and one Tile house and a tile kiln therein with a garden and croft adjoining, in the parish of Wicombe, with three other closes or pitles called Well Crofte, Cubles (and the entrance thereto) and Hogges Whittes, in the said parish, also a close at Tillers grove called Hop Kyns (and the entrance thereto) in the parish of Penn, late in the holding of Silvester Church. From Lady day last for 21 years. Rent 20s 6d and 6 bushels 1 peck of wheat and 1 quarter of malt, or their money equivalent.
