Content description
Admission at a court of the manor and hundred of Crondall held on 17 October 1701, before Robert Harris, steward, of John Hockley, junior, of a messuage or tenement, an orchard, a barn and yards (atria) with half a virgate belonging called Pottlehill with appurtenances, in Yately, surrendered by John Hockley, senior, on 16 May 1701, by the hands of William Sellon and John Milword to the use of John Hockley, junior, son and right heir of the said John Hockley, senior, and Anne his wife, and the heirs and assigned of the said John and Anne in perpetuity. John, junior, to pay John, senior, £10 a year. Heriot 2d. Fine 7d.
