Content description
Memorandum of surrender by John Hockley, a customary tenant of the manor of Crondall, by the acceptance of William Nunns and Richard Farmer, tenants, of a messuage or tenement with 3 acres, commonly called Hammonds, in Yately near Wellmoor Bottom, to the use of Edward Stent, of Yately, sawyer. If Hockley pays Stent £50 on the first day of the next General Court of the Manor, with interest at the rate of 5% the surrender shall be void.

With receipt by Hockley for £50 from Stent in consideration of the surrender. Authenticated as above.
