Content description
W, Burt, Winchester, deputy steward of the manor of Crondall, to Mr Edward Brown concerning the heriot due on the death of John Hockley. Asks for particulars of the copies of the estate, then he will hold a court at Blackwater. On the second page is a letter from Brown, of 18 May 1814, to John Hockley, Blackwater, son of the deceased, asking for the same.
