Counterpart of lease, by the Provost and College, upon surrender of a lease to Edward Lacy, to Margaret Sparhawke, of Baldock, co. Herts, widow, and executor of William Sparhawke, late of the same, gentleman, deceased, who was executor and residuary legatee of the will of Edward Sparhawke, gentleman, deceased, of the site of their moiety of the manor of Pyrton with all the demesne lands belonging, also the moiety of their two woods there called Odyngsylles woods, and all manner of rents and profits appertaining in as ample manner, except all perquisites of courts and leets and the keeping of the same, but reserving the great trees. From 5th April last for 20 years. Rent £14 4s 5d and 10 quarters of malt or their money equivalent after the rate of Windsor Market, and 20 sheep to weigh 44 pounds, or their money equivalent and one boar or 33s 4d.
